Twelve First Class Soccer Fields For Dallas International Youths of Dallas is now available in the Asian Trade District at 35E and West Walnut Hill (District 6 ) . The Elm Fork Sporting Complex was built on old land fill and raised 14 feet above the surrounding flood plains for almost two years is now re-named into the MoneyGram Soccer Park. The beautifully green and first class fields were opened by Mayor Rawlings, Deputy Mayor Pro Temp Monca Alonzo,MoneyGram and Dallas Soccer organization officials.
In past few years , as Dallas community is enriched by the people of Africa, Asia, European, and South American origin, soccer has become equally popular as a sport for the youths. Dallas is now capital of both football games. The park will be a visible image of the internationalism of metro DFW.
The ceremony closed with several soccer balls kicked into the goal gate by top officials of The City of Dallas.
